Liposuction Without Surgery
Liposuction is a procedure that involves removing unwanted fat from the body, as a means of achieving a more attractive and proportional silhouette. This procedure is a great and effective way for patients to remove fat from trouble spots that may not be easily affected by diet and exercise alone. Currently, there are two different types of liposuction, traditional liposuction and laser liposuction (e.g. liposuction without any surgery).
Dangers of traditional liposuction
Traditional liposuction involves the use of a metal cannula, or tube, and vacuum-like device that are used to suck the fat from the body. This technique is highly effective and makes it possible for surgeons to remove a large amount of fat at a time. Unfortunately, there are also some negative side effects that are associated with this procedure. Because this liposuction technique is fairly violent, many patients suffer from pain, bruising, swelling, bleeding, scarring, and in severe cases, may notice an uneven skin texture after the surgery, due to an excessive amount of fat being removed during the surgery.
Liposuction no surgery – is it possible?
Laser liposuction, also called liposuction without surgery (e.g. non surgical liposuction), is a procedure that uses a concentrated laser to liquefy fat deposits, while removing the fat through a metal cannula. However, because the fat is liquefied, a much smaller cannula is used during laser liposuction, than during traditional liposuction. Laser liposuction is also a much less violent procedure, due to the ease at which the fat can be removed from the body. This greatly decreases a patient’s risk of painful side effects and scarring, as well as why many people consider this procedure to be liposuction without surgery.
Benefits of liposuction with no surgery
Patients that undergo laser liposuction without surgery are not only less at risk of suffering from swelling, bruising, bleeding, and scarring, they are also less prone to irregularities in skin texture after the surgery. This is mainly due to the fact that less fat is removed during a laser liposuction, than during a traditional cheap liposuction procedure. However, some patients may find that the removal of less fat to be a negative aspect of laser liposuction. Because of this, the laser liposuction technique is generally performed on smaller areas of highly concentrated fat or on those that are not looking for a large weight loss from the procedure.
Performing liposuction without any surgery
Laser liposuction can be performed on many different areas of the body including the abdomen, thighs, arms, jowls, knees, buttocks, hips, back, ankles, calves, and face. Additionally, the use of the laser during the procedure allows the surgeon to carefully contour the body, while removing unwanted fat. This helps to make the shape of the body more attractive and proportioned, rather than just slimmer. This is why laser liposuction, or liposuction without surgery, is a great option for those considering enhancing their figure through the use of cosmetic surgery.
