Alternative To Liposuction

Not all people have a perfect body shape. Many carry extra fat and cellulite in their arms, thighs and belly areas. It can be difficult to achieve that perfect body through diet and exercise. Although liposuction can be a quick way to remove unwanted fat, the procedure can be scary for many people. Liposuction is expensive and often involves anesthesia, complications and a long recovery period. However, there are several alternatives to liposuction that do not require surgery but offer the same results.

Lipodissolve as a liposuction alternative

Lipodissolve is the latest advancement in non-surgical liposuction. The process involves a series of injections, usually 2-3 sessions for best results. The injections, consisting of enzymes and mild medications, convert unwanted fat into liquid. The liquefied fat then makes its way out of the patient’s body over a course of several weeks through urination.

Side effects are minimal and include bruising, skin tenderness and lumps at the site. There have been no reported cases of life-threatening complications; however, it is possible, but rare, that patients may develop an allergy to the solution. Also, those with medical conditions such as cancer or diabetes, should not use Lipodissolve, as serious risks may occur. Lipodissolve prices varies by body part, but ranges from $300-$800; this price is significantly less than even cheap liposuction surgery.

Mesotherapy another popular alternative

Mesotherapy is popular in South America and Europe. Similar to Lipodissolve, injections are used to target and dissolve unwanted fat. The injections are composed of holistic compounds, amino acids and medications and are targeted into the mesoderm, the middle skin layer. It is a virtually painless procedure and can treat any body area. Besides removing unwanted fat, mesotherapy can also reduce cellulite, tighten saggy areas, treat hair loss and eliminate stretch marks and acne.

Side effects include bruising, burning, itching, numbness and temporary skin discoloration. There have been no deaths or serious side effects documented. Slightly less expensive than Lipodissolve, the cost of mesotherapy ranges from $200-$600.

Thermage also works well

Thermage is the least invasive of these three non-surgical procedures. A heated laser is used to melt unwanted areas of fat and tighten skin. It is mostly used for face lifts, although it can be used on any part of the body. Results are evident immediately and painlessly. Thermage works best for those with areas that are not extremely fatty or saggy.

If you need help removing some areas of unwanted fat, there are other choices besides liposuction. A perfect body can be had for much less money and without the risks of surgery.

Non surgical alternative to liposuction

The best alternatives to liposuction are usually non surgical.  These include: eating a healthy diet, exercising often, and avoiding fatty foods.  People that do their best to live as healthy as possible are going to be in a much better place mentally and physically than someone that eats junk food, drinks alcohol, does drugs, and doesn’t exercise.  Eating a great diet and exercising often is the best alternative to liposuction on the market, but definitely takes some effort.
